Our investment strategy is designed to align with your goals. We take great care in maintaining tax efficiency for our clients through the use of IRS tax-qualified accounts and buy and hold strategies related to their taxable investment accounts.
2. How much do I need for retirement?
We believe that each client situation is truly unique to their wants. A safe distribution amount to not have your retirement account run out of money would be distributing no more than 4% of the account each year in retirement.

4. What's the difference between a financial advisor and a fiduciary?
Being fiduciaries we are held to a higher standard of ethical behavior regulated on the state and federal levels. We must act in your best interest given the circumstances tailored to your needs. There is no home office setting sales goals or pressure to push products that don’t serve you to the best of your standards.
5. What fees do you charge?
Being a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) we have straightforward fees, and less overhead. Meaning you keep more of your money to let it compound and stay invested compared to the same services offered by large firms. We don’t have the multiple layers of hidden fees the majority of advisors carry with their commission incentives. These fees aren’t their fault necessarily, it’s the home office they provide services through and for. Our clients pay on a time based model for fiduciary services related to taxes and financial planning. Our fees for managing investment accounts start at 1.1% as a minimum and drop to .50% as we manage more assets for the client.
6. What tax planning services do you offer?
We offer comprehensive business and personal tax services. These services include tax preparation and filing, bookkeeping, payroll, bill pay services and fractional financial officer services related to working with small business owners.
7. What bookkeeping services do you offer?
We offer monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping services. We provide these services through working with the client to understand their business and alleviate the stress and time needed for the client to complete these services themselves.
8. How do I start working with Pivotal Tax and Wealth?
We believe the client and advisor relationship is a partnership in which, both sides need to be invested to get the desired outcome. We start this relationship with a client discovery call or meeting to understand the client’s goals and needs.
9. Are there quarterly updates and how often do we meet?
We offer a quarterly newsletter that updates the client based on the market conditions and specific current events that the client should be aware of. Our clients have the choice of how often we meet with frequency’s varying between 2-10 meetings a year.
